Estelle Rogers, Queen Mother of the local chapter of the Red Hat Ladies Date: 05/20/2007 Estelle Rogers created the local chapter of the Red Hat Ladies and name the group "The Gallery Gals of Laurel Hill." No rules, no regulations, just fun on the days when they wear their wild red and purple outfits.
The Gallery Gals of Laurel Hill Date: 04/25/2007 In 2003 Estelle Rogers started a chapter of the Red Hat Ladies in Laurel Hill known as the, Gallery Gals of Laurel Hill with Cassie Rogers as the Vice Queen. Ladies over 50 wear outrageous purple dresses and red hats, under 50 ladies don pink hats and lavender dresses. No rules and regulations, just a fun lunch time, Tea Parlors, annual Christmas slumber parties and fellowship. Cheering hospital bound patients and residents of Nursing Homes is a favorite for the Gallery Gals.

The FSU Tyner Tower was dedicated September 16, 1995. Pearl invited her friends from Laurel Hill to enjoy a week-end of events in Tallahassee. The most exciting moment was when the president of FSU walked her onto the football field amidst 72,800 fans! The biggest task he had to do all day was "get Pearl off the field"! She delighted in waving and smiling as she turned from side to side. Estelle and Mayor Doug Rogers were honored to sit in the President's box at the game that day as FSU celebrated "Pearl Tyner Day." Linda Rowan wins logo contest Date: 05/19/2008 Estelle Roger's daughter, Linda Rowan created the award winning logo for the Crestview's Millennium Celebration. It emblazed billboards, shirts, pins, hats and all the printed material for the celebration. Linda was rewarded with several gifts and recognized with a plaque during the festivities in Crestview.
